A screenshot of a tweet purportedly posted by Rahul Gandhi is being shared on social media claiming that Rahul Gandhi referred to Sushant Singh Rajput as a cricketer in his tweet. Factly has found out that the tweet shared in the post is an edited one, Rahul Gandhi has not referred to Sushant as a cricketer. Sushant Singh Rajput, a well known Bollywood actor died on 14 June 2020 by suicide. Rahul Gandhi in response to Sushant’s untimely death posted a tweet on his official twitter account by referring to him as a talented actor. The word ‘actor’ in his tweet is replaced with ‘Cricketer’ and is being shared on social media. One can also notice that all the remaining words along with published time is the same in both these tweets.
