A photo is being shared widely on social media claiming that the rickshaw puller has died due to lack of food during the current lockdown. FACTLY has found the photo to be old. It is not related to any recent incident. The photo was found to exist on the internet at least since 2017. It was found on the ‘steemit’ website with the description – ‘see the sleeping posture of the rickshaw puller after getting drunk’. FACTLY was unable to verify the context of the photo, but it was found to exist prior to the announcement of the nationwide lockdown to curb COVID-19.
