Fact: This video predates the 2024 Lok Sabha election results. It is actually from April 2024, when Annamalai reportedly broke down while speaking to the elderly at an old age home in Coimbatore. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
To verify the viral claim, we performed a keyword search on social media and found various news reports (here, here, and here) related to the viral video. This incident took place in Coimbatore in April 2024, much before the 2024 Lok Sabha election results were released on 4 June 2024.
Reportedly, during a visit to an old age home in Kasthuri Nayakkan Palayam, Coimbatore, K Annamalai broke down and cried on stage while addressing the elderly.
To sum up, a video that predates the 2024 Lok Sabha poll results is falsely shared as visuals of K Annamalai crying after losing the polls.
