Fact: The photo shared in the post shows the remains of the crashed IAF chopper that killed Indian Former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat in December 2021. The crash took place near Coonor hill station in Tamil Nadu. The photo has nothing to do with the recent aircraft crash in Nepal. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the photo shared in the post, the same photo was found in an ‘India Today’ article published on 09 December 2021. ‘India Today’ reported it as the wreckage of the crashed IAF Mi-17V chopper that killed India’s former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat and 11 others.
