Fact: The video shared in the post shows Muslims decorating a special train that ran between Hyderabad and Wadi junction for pilgrims attending the 46th Anniversary Celebrations of Urs – e – Shareef of Great Saint Hazrath Khwaja Syed Mohammed Badesha Quadri Chisthy Yamani at Karnataka’s Halkatta Shareef Dargah on 01 August 2023. Every year, Indian Railways assigns dedicated trains to pilgrims participating in special events at Halkatta Shareef. Before embarking on their journey to the site, these pilgrims decorate the trains with Islamic signs and banners. The video does not show Muslims decorating a normal train travelling between Hyderabad and West Bengal. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
On reverse image search of the screenshots of the video, a video showing similar visuals of a train decorated with a Dargah board was found published by a YouTube channel in October 2017. This user described it as the visuals of a train allocated for pilgrims travelling to Halkatta Shareef Dargah in the Kalaburagi district in Karnataka. When we searched for further sources using relevant information, we found the same train in a video published by a YouTube channel on 02 August 2023. This YouTube channel published the video describing it is the visuals from the 46th Anniversary Celebrations of Urs – e – Shareef of Great Saint Hazrath Khwaja Syed Mohammed Badesha Quadri Chisthy Yamani at s Halkatta Shareef Dargah in the Kalaburagi district in Karnataka.
