Sharing the screenshot of Kamala Harris’s tweet mentioning her meeting with the Zambian President, another post claims that Kamala Harris had given priority to Zambian President rather than Narendra Modi. On 23 September 2021, PM Narendra Modi met the first Indian-American Vice President Kamala Harris in Washington, marking the first in-person meeting of Modi and the highest-ranking Indian-American in US history. Let’s verify the claim made in the post.

Claim: US Vice President Kamala Harris tweeted regarding her meeting with Zambian President but ignored tweeting her meeting with Indian PM Narendra Modi.

VP Kamala Harris met Narendra Modi a day after she met Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema on 22 September 2021. This is the reason why Kamala Harris first tweeted regarding the meeting with Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema before tweeting about Narendra Modi’s meeting. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
