A purported online website of ‘Hatsun Agro Product Limited (HAP)’ is conducting an online survey claiming that ‘HAP’ has offered 6,000 rupees on the occasion of its 50th Anniversary. Let us fact-check this claim.
Claim: ‘HAP’ is conducting an online survey to gift 6,000 rupees on its 50th Anniversary.
Fact: This website conducting an online survey with the name of ‘HAP’ is a fraudulent one. According to a Public Notice in the official website of ‘HAP’, the claim of an online survey to gift 6000 rupees on its 50th Anniversary is a misleading false message. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched to check whether ‘HAP’ has conducted any such survey to gift 6,000 rupees, we could not find details of any such survey on the official website of ‘HAP’. We found a Public Notice on its official website saying that the claim of an online survey to gift 6,000 rupees is a misleading false message. “The Public are hereby cautioned not to believe in the said message and not to fall prey to such misleading messages and social media activities in the name of our company.” The notice also says that the miscreants’ usage of the name, trademark, domain name, and logo of the company was unauthorised.
When we searched for the details of the online website that is conducting an online survey for gifting 6,000 rupees, we found the details of that website on the Whois.com website. This online website with the domain name ‘leadera.top’ was registered in May 2021. This website has nothing to do with ‘HAP’. From all these pieces of evidence, it can be concluded that the purported website conducting this survey in the name of ‘HAP’ is a fraudulent one.
To sum it up, this purported ‘HAP’ website conducting an online survey for gifting 6000 rupees is a fraudulent one.
