Fact: Video shared in the post is an edited one. During the 2018 Kisan-Adivasi rally at Bilaspur, Rahul Gandhi accused BJP Government of waiving off loans worth Rs. 2.5 Lakh crores to the top industrialists and neglecting the farmers. A part of the Rahul Gandhi speech clipped and shared with this false claim on social media. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the screenshots shared in the post, similar visuals were found in a video published on the official YouTube channel of the Indian National Congress (INC). It is mentioned as the live visuals of the 2018 Kisan-Adivasi rally, conducted at Bilaspur city in Chhatisgarh. At 27.52 minute of the video, Rahul Gandhi said ‘‘पिछले साल, हिंदुस्तान के सर्कार ने ढाई लाख, ढाई लाख करोड़ रुपया हिंदुस्तान के सबसे बड़े पंद्रह उध्योग पथियो का कर्जा माफ़ किया हे। ढाई लाख करोड़ रुपया, मगर वोही सर्कार जो पंद्रह लोंगोंके लिए ढाई लाख करोड़ रुपया माफ़ कर सकते हे, वोही सर्कार हिंदुस्तान के करोडो किसानो के लिए एक रुपया खर्च नहीं माफ़ कर सकते हे। उनके नेता कहते हे , किसान का कर्जा माफ नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि अगर किसान का कर्ज माफ किया तो किसान की आदत बिगड़ जायेगी।’.
