Fact: Photo shared in the post is a digitally created one. This photo is created using the FaceApp application. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the photo shared in the post, the original photo of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is found in the articles published by ‘iloveindia.com’ and ‘Pakistan Today’ websites. They can be seen here and here. The comments under some of the other posts sharing the same photo suggest it as the edited photo created in ‘FaceApp’ editing application.
To cross-check that, we uploaded the Shahrukh Khan photo published in these articles in the editing dashboard of ‘FaceApp’ editing application. By selecting the ‘Age’ filter in the application and using the ‘child’ sub-filter, similar image as shared in the post is created. So, it can be concluded that the photo shared on the post is an edited one.
