A couple of posts going viral on social media (here, here, here, and here) show images with the ABP Live logo. One headline reads, “Global News claims Hindu girls get satisfaction only from Muslim boys,” while the other says, “Why do Hindu girls die for Muslim boys?”. The post claims that ABP has shared these images. Let’s verify the claim through this article.
Claim: Images shared by ABP News with headlines, “Global News claims Hindu girls get satisfaction only from Muslim boys” and “Why do Hindu girls die for Muslim boys,”
Fact: ABP News has not published any reports or posts with headlines about Muslim men and Hindu women. AI detection tools confirmed that the first viral screenshot is AI-generated. ABP News also clarified that the screenshot is fake. The second viral screenshot features two artists, with a screenshot from one of their reels, and the ABP Live logo digitally added. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
Claim 1
To verify the claim, we conducted a Google search but found no news reports or social media posts on ABP News’ social media handles or websites with these headlines. We also explored the official website of Global News but did not find any such news there either.
We suspected the image could be AI-generated and ran it through the True Media AI detector tool, which confirmed that it was generated using artificial intelligence.

To further verify, we used another tool, AI or Not which also suggested that the image is likely to be AI-generated.

Additionally, we found an X post (archive)from ABP News, in which they issued a clarification stating that the viral screenshot is fake and not shared from their official social media handles. In their post, they stated that “anti-social elements are circulating such posts to disrupt harmony” and assured that legal action would be taken against those responsible. They also urged people to avoid fake news and rely only on their official social media handles for accurate information.
Claim 2
To verify another screenshot that didn’t appear to be AI-generated, we performed a reverse image search, which led us to a reel on Tanu Rawat’s Facebook handle. It was confirmed that the viral screenshot was taken from this reel. In the ‘About’ section of her Facebook profile, she mentioned her Instagram handle where she mentioned herself as an artist.

The boy in the viral screenshot has been identified as Ahmed Nawaz, an artist. We also found another reel featuring both of them.

In further investigation, we found a video on Tanu Rawat’s social media accounts in which she denied any relationship with Ahmed Nawaz. She clarified that they were just good friends.
We also conducted a Google search but found no news reports or social media posts from ABP News’ official handles or websites with these headlines. This confirms that the viral screenshot had been digitally altered to include the ABP Live logo.
Factly had previously fact-checked a similar fake screenshot featuring the ABP Live logo with the headline, “Why do Hindu girls die for Muslim boys.”
To sum up, AI-generated and edited images with the ABP Live logo about Muslim men and Hindu women are shared as real.
