Claim: Video of a terrorist caught in Faridabad recently.
Fact: Faridabad Police clarified that the video was part of a mock drill conducted by CISF in a metro station recently. We could not find any recent news reports of a terrorist being arrested in Faridabad metro station. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When reverse image search is done on the screenshots of the video, a video with similar visuals was found on YouTube. The YouTube video was uploaded by a channel named ‘Faridabad News’ which says that the viral video is not related to a terrorist, but a mock drill organised by the CISF in Faridabad metro station.
When we searched online with relevant keywords, we found a tweet by Faridabad police saying that the video was from a mock drill by CISF. If a terrorist had been arrested in Faridabad, it would have been reported by major news outlets. We could not find any recent news reports of such an arrest being made.
