Claim: Video shows Tata salt being packed in Begum Bazaar.    

Fact: The incident is related to Dera Bassi (Punjab). ‘Tata Salt’ has clarified that the video pertains to a raid conducted by their team along with the Punjab Police against counterfeit salt operations in Dera Bassi. Hence the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.    

In the comment section of the post, it can be seen that a user, claiming to be a representative of ‘Tata Salt’, has posted an image of a news article by the ‘Hindustan Times’ on the incident. He also wrote that ‘this video pertains to a raid done by Tata Salt and Punjab Police to fight counterfeits

When searched on Google with the keywords, the same news article by the ‘Hindustan Times’ was found in the search results. In the article, it can be read that the incident took place at Sundra village in Mohali’s Dera Bassi subdivision. The image of the same article was also posted by the ‘Tata Salt’ on its official Facebook page

To sum it up, the video is related to a raid by authorities against counterfeit salt operations in Dera Bassi (Punjab), not Begum Bazaar (Telangana).
