Fact: The video shared in the post shows old visuals of ‘Al-Arabi’ football club President Abdulaziz Ahmed Ashour celebrating his team’s victory in the final match of the Amir Cup. This match took place on 21 September 2020. The video shared in the post is old and has nothing to do with the recent India-Pakistan cricket match held as part of the Asia Cup 2022 at the Dubai International Stadium. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the screenshots of the video, a video with similar visuals was found in a tweet made by Khalaf Al-Enezi, a journalist and sports reporter working at the ‘ATV Kuwait’ news channel, on 22 September 2020. Khalaf tweeted this video stating, “I turned on the phone at the last minute and pointed the camera at Aziz Ashour, president of the Arab Club. Tired, planted, harvested and lacked his brothers, members of the board of directors Congratulations to the Arab, and hard to Kuwait” (when translated from Arabic to English). Khalaf shared the same video with a similar description on his Instagram page.
When we searched for further sources using relevant keywords, similar visuals were found in a video published by the ‘ATV Kuwait’ news website on 22 September 2020. This news channel confirmed it as the crazy celebration visuals of Al-Arabi Sports Club President Abdulaziz Ahmed Ashour.
