Fact: The person who stopped the Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the video is Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania, not the security personnel of PM Narendra Modi. Avinash Lavania had stopped Shivraj Singh Chouhan only to discuss an issue related to the inauguration ceremony of the Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal. After the discussion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was again seen walking along with PM Narendra Modi. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, a video with similar visuals was found tweeted by ‘NDTV’ journalist Anurag Dwary on 16 November 2021. Anurag Dwary clarified that the person who was seen interrupting Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania, not the security personnel of PM Narendra Modi. ‘NDTV’ and a few other news websites have published articles reporting this information. They can be seen here and here. This incident reportedly took place during Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Bhopal to inaugurate the Rani Kamalapati railway station.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan through a tweet clarified that the person who interrupted his walk with Narendra Modi was Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania, not the security guard of PM Narendra Modi. Shivraj stated that Avinash Lavania had stopped him to discuss an important issue related to the inauguration ceremony of the Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal. After the discussion with Avinash Lavania, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was again seen walking along with Narendra Modi.
