Fact: The former Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon died in 2014 after being in a coma for eight years following a massive heart stroke in 2006. The video shared in the viral post is an old video of former Faisalabad DSP Anwar Sandal, recorded during his hospitalization at Lahore’s Sarjmeed Hospital in 2021. The video is from Pakistan and has nothing to do with Ariel Sharon. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
When we searched for the details of the claims made in the post, we found that former Prime Minister of Israel, Ariel Sharon, passed away in January 2014. He had been in a coma for eight years following a severe heart stroke in 2006. Several news websites published articles reporting about Ariel Sharon’s death in 2014. In 2010, Israeli artist Noam Braslavsky unveiled a life-sized art installation at the Kishon Gallery in Tel Aviv. The artworks show former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in a comatose state, lying in a hospital bed. There is no footage of Ariel Sharon captured during his medical treatment.
