A purported online website of ‘State Bank of India’ is conducting an online survey claiming that ‘SBI’ has offered 5 lakh rupees each to randomly selected 10 users and that this survey aims to improve the quality of services of its users. Factly received a query on its WhatsApp tip-line number (+91 9247052470) to check the authenticity of the website.

Fact: This website conducting an online survey with the name of ‘SBI’ is a fraudulent one. According to the official website of SBI, it is not offering any gift of 5 lakh rupees by conducting an online contest. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched to check whether ‘SBI’ has conducted ఇన్ any such contest to gift 5 lakh rupees, we could not find details of any such contest on the official website of ‘SBI’. According to the official website of SBI, State Bank of India (SBI) a Fortune 500 company, is an Indian Multinational, Public Sector Banking and Financial services statutory body headquartered in Mumbai. It can be observed that the official ‘SBI’ website is completely different from the website that is conducting this survey for gifting 5 lakh rupees. If SBI had conducted such an online contest for gifting 5 lakh rupees, several news websites would have published articles reporting the contest. But we could not find any such article on the internet.
When we searched for the details of the online website that is conducting an online survey for gifting 5 lakh rupees, we found the details of that website in the ‘Whois.com’ website. This online website with the domain name ‘dtpzz.bar’ was registered in March 2021. This website has nothing to do with ‘SBI’. From all these pieces of evidence, it can be concluded that the purported website conducting this contest in the name of ‘SBI’ is a fraudulent one.
To sum it up, this purported ‘SBI’ website conducting an online contest for gifting 5 lakh rupees is a fraudulent one.
