Fact: These pictures are not recent; they are from the year 2019. These pictures have nothing to do with Sania’s divorce or her return to India. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
To check the veracity of the viral claim, we performed a reverse image search using Google image search which led us to a News report published by mid-day on 23 October 2019 with the title, “Sania Mirza lovingly carries 11-month-old son Izhaan in her arms at Mumbai airport”. This news report published the exact same pictures that are being shared along with the viral claim.
Also, Sania’s Son Izhaan is now 5 years old. He turned five on 30 October 2023. Sania and Shoaib had a mini pre-birthday celebration in Dubai. We also verified Sania Mirza’s Twitter and Instagram regarding viral Pictures and the claim, but we didn’t find any of the viral images on her social media. However, according to a report by Bollywood Life, Sania Mirza is currently in India with her son Izhaan. From all this information, it is evident that the viral images are old and were taken in 2019.
