A video through a post is being widely shared on social media claiming that a man was killed in a Water Park in Jhalawar district in Rajasthan. Let us fact-check the claim made in the post.

Claim: Video of a Man who died in a water park in Jhalawar district.

Fact: The man in the video did not die after the collision. The young man’s life was saved after he was immediately taken to the SRG hospital. He was later discharged from the hospital and no case is filed against anyone yet. The incident happened recently in Mukundra Water Park in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan. Though there was a similar case of a youth who was hit (he was killed) in Ajmer, this video in Jhalawar district is different. Hence, the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.

When reverse image search is done on the screenshots of the video, a video report with similar visuals was found uploaded by Dainik Bhaskar. According to the video report, the young man’s life was saved after he was immediately taken to the hospital. He was later discharged from the hospital and no case is filed against anyone yet. Though there was a similar case of a youth who was hit (he was killed) in Ajmer, this incident in Jhalawar district is different.

According to reports, the incident happened recently in Mukundra Water Park in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan. The young man from Ramganjmandi who was standing in the pool collided with the woman coming down the water slide. The young man faints and it causes a serious head injury. The people present nearby take him out of the pool. The man was taken to SRG hospital for treatment. He was later discharged. Photos of ‘Mukundra Hotels & Resorts’ on google maps is similar to the one in the video.

To sum it up, the man who was seriously injured in this video did not die after the collision under the water slide.
