Fact: The woman in the video criticising PM Modi is Vijaylakshmi Nadar, and not Kamala Harris. The video is from a City Council Meeting held in the city of Troy, Michigan. Vijaylakshmi Nadar is the Bureau Chief of ‘The India Observer’, a web news portal. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When reverse image search is done on the screenshots of the video, a video with the same visuals was found on YouTube. The YouTube video is of better resolution, and it can be clearly seen that the woman is not Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the USA. At 19:48 timeframe, the YouTube video had been cut to make the 2:09 long viral video. At 19:30 timeframe, it can be clearly heard that the announcer had called the name ‘Vijaya Nadar’, and not ‘Kamala Harris’. The YouTube video is a City Council Meeting held on 11 October 2021 in the city of Troy, Michigan (USA).
On further search using relevant keywords, another YouTube video with the same speech was found. According to the title of this YouTube video, the woman criticising the Modi government is Vijaylakshmi Nadar, Bureau Chief of ‘The India Observer’ web news portal. On the Twitter handle with the same name, a similar video criticising the Modi government was found.
To sum it up, the woman criticising the Modi government in this video is not Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the USA.
