A circular purportedly issued by the Ministry of Tourism ordering the closure of Hotels, Restaurants, and Resorts in the country till 15 October 2020 due to the outbreak of Coronavirus is making rounds on social media. FACTLY has found that the message is fake. The Ministry of Tourism has clarified that it hasn’t issued any such order and asked people to refrain from forwarding the fake message. Press Information Bureau (PIB) has also debunked the claim and said that the order is fake.
