A message is being shared on social media claiming that entire Mumbai will be under the military lockdown for 10 days starting from Saturday. But, FACTLY has found the message to be ‘fake’. The Mumbai Police have termed the message about the military lockdown in Mumbai as a ‘rumour’ and clarified that the army is not being called out to the city. Press Information Bureau (PIB) Mumbai has also debunked the claim and clarified that no army/navy personnel are being deployed for maintaining law and order in the city.
