Claim: This video shows BJP leader Vasundhara Raje conversing with BJP rebel MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati.
Fact: This is an old video of Vasundhara Raje congratulating Indian star athlete Neeraj Chopra. It shows a conversation between Vasundhara Raje and Neeraj Chopra from 2021 when she called and congratulated Neeraj Chopra on winning a Gold Medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
To check the veracity of the viral claim, we performed a keyword search on the internet, but we did not find any news reports about the former CM of Rajasthan speaking to the MLA of Sheo Assembly Constituency Ravindra Singh Bhati over the phone.
Further, to learn more about the viral clip, we performed a reverse image search on a few of its keyframes, leading us to a tweet from 2021 that contained the same video. The video described this conversation as the former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje speaking over the phone with Indian Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra on winning a Gold Medal in the Tokyo Olympics.
The two-time CM of Rajasthan also posted a congratulatory message to Neeraj Chopra on her social media; she even posted the same video on her Instagram.
