Claim: The viral video shows a load of JCBs being transported from Uttar Pradesh to Rajasthan in a freight train after the BJP won the 2023 Rajasthan assembly elections.
Fact: This is an old November 2021 video uploaded online way before the November 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections. It was uploaded by a YouTuber named Mogili Gopi, who uploads videos related to the Indian Railways on his YouTube channel named “GopiRailworld”. Hence, the claim made in the post is Flase.
To learn more about the viral video, we performed a reverse image search on a few of its keyframes, leading us to the original full-length version of the viral video.
This video was uploaded to a YouTube channel named “GopiRailworld” on 26 November 2021, two years before the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections.
This video titled “Two Trains OVERTAKES BOMN Rake Freight Train | JCB’s on Train | WAP-7 Superb Acceleration | I R”, features a few clips of passenger and freight trains in action. The portion of the viral video can be seen at 3:23 seconds. The video describes this as a “Rare spotting of Rare spotting of JCBs on BOMN Train.” It identifies the locomotive of this train as WAG-9H 31395 BHILAI. NCR written of the train wagons indicate that this train belongs to the North-Central railways.
Other than this, the video or the description does not give away any details about the freight train’s starting point and destination. The video predates the 2023 Rajasthan assembly elections in which the BJP won, and the viral claim sets the time period of the video after the elections, which makes it clear that the viral claim is fake.
