A video being shared on social media (here, here, and here) shows a man rescuing three women from a house. The video is being shared, claiming that Muslim boys kidnapped and held Hindu girls captive. Let’s verify the truth behind the video in this article.

Claim: Video shows Muslim boys kidnapped and held Hindu girls captive.

Fact: The viral video is scripted and doesn’t show a real incident. It was uploaded by a video creator named Naveen Jangra on his YouTube channel on 12 October 2023. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

Upon reviewing the viral video, we noticed a disclaimer at 0:22 minutes, which clarifies that the video is for entertainment purposes only. It further states, “The information contained herein is not intended to be a source of advice or credit analysis. Any action you take based on this video is strictly at your own risk, and we will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of the information presented in this video.”

We then conducted a reverse image search on the keyframes from the viral video, which led us to the original video (archived). The video was uploaded by a verified YouTube channel named ‘Naveen Jangra’ on 12 October 2023. 

We noticed that the same disclaimer appears at 0:22 minutes in the video uploaded on YouTube.

We also found a link to Naveen Jangra’s Instagram account in the About section of his YouTube channel. In the bio of his Instagram page, he states that he is a video creator.

We noticed that Naveen Jangra regularly uploads such scripted videos on his YouTube channel and has also featured in several other videos shared on this channel (here, here, and here).

To sum up, a scripted video of a man rescuing three women from a house is shared as a real incident of love jihad.
