Fact: The original video of Amit Shah’s speech in Depalpur on 11 November 2023 has been edited at 7:40 and 7:59 timestamps and shared with this false narrative. Hence, the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.

On performing a relevant keyword search, we came across a full live recorded video of the meeting with the title “HM Amit Shah addresses the public rally in Depalpur, Madhya Pradesh (11 Nov 2023)” on his official website as well as his official YouTube channel. The video is also posted on BJP’s official Facebook page.

On carefully going through the entire video, we found that the original video is trimmed at different timestamps. The viral segment begins at 7:40 and ends at 7:59 timestamps, where he emphasizes, “Dear brothers and sisters, when you go to vote on 17th, remember one thing- do not vote to make Manoj Nirbhaysingh MLA.” However, he continues to say “While he may become an MLA with your vote, your choice directly impacts the development and security of Madhya Pradesh. Your single vote plays a crucial role in shaping the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh, contributing to the establishment of Modi Ji’s double-engine government.”
