Fact: The video clip of the viral post is a portion of a news debate aired by TV9 Bharatvarsh in August 2020. In a ‘Full & Final’ debate programme, a discussion was held about the alleged plan of China to attack India in October 2020. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
Based on the logo-TV9 Bharatvarsh and the programme’s name ‘Full & Final’, we formulated a few keywords and searched for the full-length video on the internet. This led us to a YouTube video uploaded by TV9 Bharatvarsh titled ‘अक्टूबर में India पर हमला कर सकता है China, नदी-नाले का पानी कम होने का कर रहा इंतजार.’ This 2:30-second clip has visuals that match the viral video. To find the full video of the debate, we refined our keywords and added the hashtags ‘#IndiaChinaClash #TV9Bharatvarsh #HindiNewsLive‘ found in the clip. This led us to the full-length debate video, which was uploaded to YouTube on 28 August 2022.
The viral video is a clipped version of this 40 Minutes and 34 Second video in which the 9 minutes and 01 seconds match the viral video. This debate did not mention Pakistan and the alleged grenade attack.

Fact: The news clip published in the viral post is from September 2020. The clip has been taken from a 43-minute video report of ‘TV9 Bharatvarsh’ in their program known as full and final. Hence the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.
Based on the ‘TV9 Bharatvarsh’ logo on the video, we searched for such news reports on China and India based on the keywords from the text in the news report. This led us to a YouTube video uploaded on TV9 Bharatvarsh’s channel from 2020 titled ‘LAC पर भारत अपनी जिद को छोड़े – ग्लोस’. This 2-minute 2, seconds clip contained visuals that match the viral post.
Based on the text of the news report, we understood that it is a news broadcast program of a program called ‘Full and Final.’ We refined our keywords to find a longer video and searched the internet. This led us to a news report titled ‘PLA नहीं हटेगा.. फिक्स.. युद्ध का 100% रिस्क | Full & Final’. The visuals in the viral post were taken from this program which was uploaded on 24 September 2020.
To sum it up, an old news report of ‘TV9 Bharatvarsh’ from 2020 is shared as recent news on the India-China border conflict.
