Fact: There is no such BJP MLA with the name Anil Upadhyay. Search on My Neta website yielded two persons with similar names, one is Dr. Anil Upadhyay, from the Bahujan Samaj Party, Rajasthan and the other is Anil Kumar Upadhyay, an independent from Uttar Pradesh. The same video went viral in the past with the same name alleging that he represents Congress party. Although we could not independently verify the identify the person in the video, the claim that he is a BJP legislator is not true. Further, many fake posts were viral in the past in the name of Anil Upadhyay, a fictional politician. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
