Fact: There are no videos of the Titan Submersible near the Titanic wreckage site from credible sources available online. Hence, the claim made in these posts is False.
Firstly, we made a thorough search on the internet to find if any credible and reputed media organisations shared videos of the Titan Submersible near the Titanic wreckage site. This search did not lead us to any such videos.
Then we visited the official website of Ocean Gate, the company to which this Submersible belonged, to see whether they had uploaded any such videos.
On their website, we found an introductory video of their Titanic expedition, in which the Titan Submersible and the wreckage site can be seen, but not together. They are separate shots of them in the water. Except for these, as seen in the viral videos, no videos show the whole Titan submersible as a unit traversing near the Titanic Wreckage.
Furthermore, we looked at some of the life-sized scans of the sunken Titanic, which do not show a flag at the ship’s bow, as seen in one of these videos.
To sum up, unrelated videos are shared online as the visuals of Ocean Gate’s Titan Submersible that imploded recently.
