Fact: The video shared in the post was posted by an Instagram user Jake from the North Idaho region in the U. S. state of Idaho. Jake, a cinematographer and a military enthusiast, published many similar videos showcasing battlefield scenes while donning army camouflage. The video has nothing to do with the ongoing fight between the Israeli army and Hezbollah militants amid the Israel-Palestine conflict. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
On reverse image search of the screenshots of the video, we found a tweet made by an ‘X’ user related to this viral video. The ‘X’ user informed that the video was created by a military enthusiast who posts videos portraying war scenarios and battlefield scenes. Sharing the URL link of the ‘thepicturetaker’ Instagram account that posted the video, the ‘X’ user clarified that the video does not show the killing of Hezbollah militants in the context of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
‘thepicturetaker’ Instagram page published the video on 02 November 2023 with the description, “He learned his lesson at properly employing cover & concealment.” The Instagram page is administered by Jake, a cinematographer and a military enthusiast, from the North Idaho region in the U. S. state of Idaho.
Replying to a user’s appreciation for his video, Jake admitted that the video was created by him using visual effects. Jake published many similar videos showcasing battlefield scenes while donning army camouflage. A few of those videos can be seen here, here, and here. We reached out to Jake for further clarification regarding the video. We will update the article once we receive further clarification regarding the video.
