Fact: In the video, SP leader Vipin Manothia is getting beaten by BJP supporters. Several news agencies have reported that BJP supporters opposed SP leaders entering the election booth on election day and attacked them when they came outside. It has also been reported that SP candidate Adil Choudhary went away from the place whereas Vipin Manothia was beaten up by the BJP supporters.
In January 2022, Meerut South SP candidate Adil Choudhary reportedly made some comments threatening to take revenge. The news reports on his comments can be read here and here. While he explicitly did not say that he would take revenge specifically on Hindus, it is portrayed by certain sections that he was referring to Hindus. His full speech can be seen here.

In its article, ‘Jagran’ has reported that BJP supporters opposed SP leaders entering the polling booth on election day and attacked them when they came outside. It has also been reported that SP candidate Adil Choudhary went away from the place whereas Vipin Manothia was beaten up by the BJP supporters. The names of the accused can be found in the FIR filed by Vipin Manothia. It can be seen that they (Lalit Moral, Sagar Poswal – some of the names in the FIR) are associated with BJP. Also, on comparing the visuals, one can conclude that the man getting beaten up in the posted video is Vipin Manothia.
