A video (here, here, here and here) is going viral on social media showing a tiger attacking bikers near a forest, dragging one of them away. It is being claimed that the incident took place in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.

The archived post can be found here.

Claim: The viral video shows a tiger attacking bikers and dragging one of them away in Rajasthan’s Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.

Fact: The video is AI-generated, not real. In addition to inconsistencies, the original upload is tagged with AI-related hashtags. AI-detection tools also flagged it as 99.9% synthetic. Further, no such tiger attack was reported from Ranthambore. Hence the claim is FALSE.

To verify the truth, we closely analysed the video and found several inconsistencies. The number plate on the bike does not resemble an Indian number plate, and the text on it is unreadable. Additionally, at the moment when the tiger is dragging the person, parts of the person’s body appear to disappear. These inconsistencies indicate that the video is not real and is likely digitally created.

To trace the original upload, we performed a reverse image search on Google, which led us to the same video uploaded on YouTube on 20 November 2025. The video’s caption included hashtags like #AI and #Sora, indicating that it was created using an AI video-generation tool. Google had also tagged it as ‘Altered or synthetic content.’ Further checks showed that the channel The Nature Attacks mentions in its description that it posts AI-generated videos along with original content.

To verify whether the video was AI-generated, we checked it using Hive, an AI-content detection tool. The tool flagged the video as 99.9% AI-generated. Combined with the other evidence, this confirms that the viral video is indeed artificially created.

Additionally, while the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is known for tiger attacks and several incidents have been reported there in the past (here, here and here), we found no reports matching the claim made in the viral video.

To sum up, this video showing a tiger attacking bikers in Rajasthan’s Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, is AI-generated.
