Claim: Video of vehicles jumping off the potholed road in India.

Fact: The road full of potholes shown in the video is not related to India. Several posts showing this footage claim it to be from China. It can also be seen that the driving direction of vehicles is opposite to the driving rules of India. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.

On reverse image search of the screenshots in the posted video, several videos which shared similar footage were found on multiple YouTube channels. They can be watched here and here. In these videos, they mentioned this as the condition of a road in China.  In all these videos, ‘LiveLeak’ logo could be seen on the video screen. When we searched for further information using these keywords, we found a google search result of ‘LiveLeak’ website with the title ‘Potholes on Chinese roads after heavy rains’. But, we were not able to access the ‘LiveLink’ website from India.

It can also be seen that the billboards in the video are in a foreign language. Though we could not conclude which specific language is shown on the billboards, it is definitely not a language from India. Also, the driving direction of the vehicles is opposite to the driving rules in India.

To sum it up, this video of vehicles jumping off a potholed road is not from India.
