Following the 22 April 2025 Pahalgam terror attack, India launched Operation Sindoor, escalating tensions along the Line of Control (LoC). Both sides reported intensified cross-border firing and armed forces operations, leading to military and civilian casualties (here, here, and here). After days of attacks from both sides, a ceasefire agreement was reached through high-level military and diplomatic talks on 10 May 2025. However, Pakistan reportedly violated this agreement within hours of its announcement. Pakistani drones were sighted and intercepted in various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, including Srinagar, as well as regions of Gujarat (here, here).

After the Pahalgam terror attack, one of the victims reportedly recalled the incident, saying, “Three to four people attacked us. I told them – kill me too, you’ve already killed my husband. One of them allegedly replied, ‘I won’t kill you. Go and tell this to Modi.”(here, here and here)

In this context, a video showing a poster being replaced at a public location is going viral on social media (here, here, here, and here). In the video, a man is seen pasting a new poster over an existing one on a display panel. The original poster features a caricature-style image with the phrase ‘Tell Modi’, while the new one reads ‘I Told Modi’. Both posters depict individuals in military uniforms alongside people in distress, suggesting a political or military message. Let’s verify the truth behind the video in this article.

A news report by Deadline Hollywood also confirms this and includes the original video shared by Marvel Studios on X. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

We also came across a news report published on the American entertainment website Deadline Hollywood on 05 May 2025.
