Fact: This video was recorded in May 2023 in Daksum area of Jammu and Kashmir. Media and weather reports confirm that no fresh snowfall was reported in this area on 22 September 2023. Hence, the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.

A reverse image search of the viral video led us to the same video, previously uploaded on Facebook by a user named Sajad Wani on 08 May 2023 as the visuals of fresh snowfall at Daksum.

When the video started circulating on social media, claiming to show footage from 22 September 2023, Sajad Wani clarified that he had originally uploaded this video in May 2023, as a Facebook reel, and requested users to abstain from sharing this footage as recent visuals of the snowfall, to avoid any confusion.
