Claim: Burj Khalifa is lit up in Israeli flag in the wake of UAE-Israel deal.

Fact: We could not find any news article reporting this incident. Even the official social media accounts of Burj Khalifa did not share any image or video of Burj Khalifa lit up in Israeli flag. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.

Every time Burj Khalifa is lit up with a specific image or a flag etc., it is posted on the official social media platforms of Burj Khalifa like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Hence, we searched those social media accounts but we could not find any video or image of Burj Khalifa lit up in Israeli flag on the timelines of respective social media accounts. Also, we could not find any news article reporting this. Even on the Independence Day of India and Pakistan, Burj Khalifa was lit up in Indian Tricolor and Pakistan flag. With this, we can say the photo in the post is digitally morphed.

On reverse searching the image in the post on Yandex, we found the image of Burj Khalifa shared in the post, but without the Israel flag. The Israel flag would have been added digitally to this image using a tool like photoshop.

In the light of the landmark UAE-Israel peace deal signed on 13 August 2020, posts like these are being widely shared across all social media platforms.

To sum it up, morphed image is shared as Burj Khalifa is lit up in Israeli flag.
