An image of buses lined up is being shared with the claim that it shows the buses arranged by Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi for the transportation of migrant workers to native places. But FACTLY has found the image to be of the buses paraded during Kumbh Mela-2019 event. In March 2019, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has paraded 500 Kumbh Mela special buses in Prayagraj (Allahabad) for setting up a Guinness World Record for the largest parade of buses. Earlier, after Priyanka Gandhi wrote a letter to the UP government seeking permission to run 1000 buses for the transportation of stranded migrant workers to their homes, the UP government has accepted her offer and asked her to submit the requisite details.
