Fact: Biplab Kumar Deb hasn’t made any such statement against Narendra Modi. After he resigned from the Tripura Chief Minister’s post, Biplab Kumar Deb responded to the media that the party is above all. Deb proclaimed himself as a dedicated party worker and exuded hope that he will be able to do justice to whatever responsibility he was entrusted with by the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Biplab Kumar Deb through a tweet congratulated Manik Saha on taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Tripura and expressed his full support for the development of Tripura under his leadership. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched to check whether the former Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb has made any such statement against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we could not find any news report on this news. After that, of course, a Chief Minister will be chosen”. After submitting his resignation, Biplab Kumar Deb through a tweet thanked the BJP’s central leadership and the people of Tripura for giving him the opportunity to serve Tripura as Chief Minister.
