He emphasised this as a major reason why corruption has decreased in the AAP ruled states. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

When we searched for this video using relevant keywords, we found the full video of this Arvind Kejriwal’s exclusive interview with ‘India TV’ journalist Saurav Sharma on YouTube. One can see a similar conversation from 6:50 minutes of this video. While speaking about the corruption in the AAP ruled states, Kejriwal said (the English translation of his Hindi words), “Earlier, a system was created in which all the collected money used to finally reach the Chief Minister. The then system was created in a way that if somebody has to facilitate this money from lower offices, they will be allowed to make money. So, these people used to collect money from local police stations, Tahsildar, and other lower government bodies and send it to the top officials. But now, Bhagwant Mann will not take money, I will not take money, Ministers and MLAs from my party also do not take any money. Recently, a local Tahsildar meeting was held in Punjab. They decided collectively not to collect money anymore from lower rung people and send it to the top officials in the government. So, the corruption has decreased”.

‘India TV’ had published an article reporting the summary of their recent exclusive conversation with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. The video shared in the post was created by cropping and editing out a part & muting few words from the full ‘India TV’ interview video.
