Fact: Telangana state police recruitment board has not released any latest recruitment notification. The 2018 recruitment notification is digitally edited so as to look like the latest recruitment notification. Few news agencies have also reported the same. Even Adilabad SP stated the same through a tweet. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
Search on Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) website did not yield any recruitment notification dated 03-04-2021. As per the information available on the website, the latest recruitment notification was released on 31-05-2018. By juxtaposing the image of the first page of the 2018 notification which is available on the website with that of the images in the post, we can infer that the dates and the total number of vacancies under different categories in the 2018 official notification are digitally edited so as to look like the latest notification. In fact, the number of vacancies under different categories does not add up to 18,925 in the viral post.
The rest of the images in the post are exact replicas of pages 2,3 & 4 of the original 2018 notification available on the website. Further search led us to a tweet by the official Twitter handle of Adilabad SP which shared the image of the viral notification stating that the notification is fake.
Further few regional news agencies have also reported the viral notification as fake. These articles have also stated that miscreants shared the 2018 notification by changing the date. By all this, we can infer that the first page of 2018 police recruitment is digitally edited so as to look like a recent notification.
