Fact: ‘Cab-E’ application on Google Play Store and services are provided by a company named ‘CAB-EEZ INFRA TECH PVT. LTD’. It has no affiliation with the TATA Group. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.

On looking for the organization that has developed the ‘Cab-E’ application available on Google play store, it is found that a company named ‘CAB-EEZ INFRA TECH PVT. LTD’ has developed this application and is providing services under this name. In the description about the company, it is mentioned as a Technology platform operator which supports cab managers by giving them a platform to book rides for intracity and intercity commute and car rentals. Detailed information about the CAB-EEZ INFRA TECH PVT. LTD’ company can be seen here on their website. ‘Cab-E’ taxi service and the company associated with the application has no affiliation with the Tata group.

As per the company, ‘Cab-E’ is a technology platform, aimed to support the cab managers and enabling them to provide commuters with affordable, safer and comfortable rides. When these misleading posts on TATA group launching the ‘Cab-E’ services in Mumbai and Pune went viral on social media, Team ‘Cab-E’ team published a clarification on Facebook saying that the rumour is not true.
