A video of a boy being flogged after getting tied to a tree is being shared widely across social media claiming that the incident took place during the lockdown in the country. ‘FACTLY’ has found the video to be two years old and has nothing to do with the current lockdown in the country. The incident took place in Deoria (UP) in March 2018 after a financial dispute broke out between two persons.
