A message purportedly a ‘fierce attack’ of Mukesh Ambani on Rahul Gandhi is doing the rounds on social media, where he allegedly asks Rahul Gandhi a few questions. We fact-check this claim through this article.
Claim: Mukesh Ambani called Rahul Gandhi a ‘worthless man’ and posed a series of questions.
Fact: There are no reports to prove that Mukesh Ambani made such remarks against Rahul Gandhi. Also, this is an old Hoax. The same set of questions went viral in the past, attributing them to Mukesh Ambani’s brother Anil Ambani. Hence, the claim made in the post is Fasle.
To check the veracity of the viral claim, we performed a keyword search on the internet. We found no news reports about such comments from Mukesh Ambani. Had one of the richest men in the country made such remarks against India’s main opposition leader, it would have received significant media coverage, which is not the case here.
Additionally, Factly had previously debunked a similar claim in 2021. Back then, it was claimed that Anil Ambani, the brother of Mukesh Ambani, made the same remarks on Rahul Gandhi. The questions in the old message (here, here and here (archive link)) that went viral in the past were similar to this one. The same old message has been revived and falsely shared on social media, attributing it to Mukesh Ambani.
To sum up, Mukesh Ambani did not make this alleged ‘fierce attack’ on Rahul Gandhi.
