We found that a Bangladeshi media channel named BanglaVision NEWS had uploaded a longer version of the video on its YouTube channel. The caption states that the individuals seen in the water are madrasa students aiding those trapped in the flood. We also discovered the viral video on the official YouTube channel of the Ahle Hadith Movement, a Bangladeshi Islamic organization. The description indicated that the footage was recorded in Feni, a city in Bangladesh.
In the video published by BanglaVision, we noticed a watermark reading ‘Video: Imran Husain.’ We confirmed that this video was posted by Imran Husain on his Facebook page, along with a link to the news channel. In one of his comments, he noted that students from Darul Uloom Madrasa in Munsirhat were delivering food and water to people’s doorsteps by swimming along Darbarpur Road, Munsirhat, Fulgazi Feni.
