Claim: The video shows a real arrest by the CBI of a man named Adil Kazmi, who planned a bombing in Bhopal.

Fact: The video does not show a real arrest by the CBI of a man named Adil Kazmi for planning a bombing. The visuals are from the Telugu film Tappinchukoleru, directed by Rudrapatla Venugopal, in which Syed Adil Kazmi, an actor and professional stunt rider, plays a role. There are no credible recent reports of any individual named Adil Kazmi being arrested by the CBI for planning a bombing in Bhopal. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

To verify the claim, we performed a Google search using relevant keywords, but found no credible reports about a man named Adil Kazmi being arrested by the CBI for planning a bombing in Bhopal. Given the seriousness of such an incident, it would have likely received widespread media coverage; however, no such reports were found.

We then conducted a reverse image search of key frames from the viral video, which led us to an Instagram post dated 04 December 2025 showing the same scene from a different angle. The post stated that the scene is actually from a movie, and the character is played by Syed Adil Kazmi, an actor and stunt rider.

We also found an extended version of the viral video uploaded on a YouTube channel named Mango Videos on 12 February 2025. According to the film’s description, this scene is from a Telugu movie titled Tappinchukoleru, directed by Rudrapatla Venugopal, in which Syed Adil Kazmi plays a role.

We searched the internet for Syed Adil Kazmi and found multiple reports (here, here) and interviews (here, here) featuring him. According to these sources, Syed Adil Kazmi is an Indian motorcycle freestyler, an MTV Stuntmania finalist, and the founder of India’s first stunt school — Bhopal Stunt School. He promotes safe bike freestyling through professional training and has also ventured into modelling and acting, appearing in films and television shows.

We also found Syed Adil Kazmi’s Instagram handle, where he posted a story addressing the viral video. He clarified that the video is from a movie and that people are sharing his shot to spread fake news about him.

We then contacted Syed Adil Kazmi, who told Factly that he is a film actor and professional bike stuntman. He clarified that the scene from the film Tappinchukoleru, based on the Bhopal gas tragedy, is being falsely circulated on social media. He also stated that he runs a stunt school in Bhopal and that the film was shot nearly three years ago in the city.

To sum up, a scene from a movie is shared as the CBI’s real arrest of a man planning a bombing in Bhopal.
