Fact: Although Muslim leaders were present at the inaugural ceremony of the Salumbar district, it is not true that they were the only religious leaders who graced the event. As per the news reports on this event, Hindu religious leaders like Peethadeeswar Atchyuthanand Maharaj of Beneshwar Dham and Prakashananad Maharaj were also present at the ceremony. A havan ceremony was also performed before the Inauguration. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.

This event took place in Rajasthan’s Salumbar on 7 August 2023. In a news report published by Dainik Bhaskar, the presence of Peethadeeswar Atchyuthanand Maharaj of Beneshwar Dham, Muslim religious leader Yamin Qadri, Ishaq Momani of Bohra Samaj, Prakashanand Maharaj was mentioned which signifies that religious leaders from both Hindu and Islam Faiths were present in the event. News reports (here) on this event even mention that a havan ceremony was also conducted before the inauguration event. Havan is a Hindu fire ritual in which grains or ghee are poured into a fire as an offering.
In a live stream of this event uploaded by a YouTube channel named ‘Mewad News 86’, we can see the fire ritual set up in front of the main stage (watch). In the same video, we can also see the host of this event inviting Atchyutanand Maharaj to the podium to speak. You can find the Muslim leader featured in the viral clip giving a speech here in this video. With all this evidence, it is clear that religious leaders from both the Hindu and Islam faith were present at the ceremony, contrary to the viral claim.
