A video is being shared widely on social media with a claim that a missing child was found by Nagpur Police and she can speak only Tamil. Let’s try to analyze the claim made in the post.
Claim: Missing child video by Nagpur Police.
Fact: The policeman belongs to Pakistan’s Sindh Police. The missing child in the video is with Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Police, not Nagpur Police. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
In the video, at 40 seconds, the policeman urges the relatives of the child to collect her from ‘Khawaja Ajmer Nagri’ police station. So, when searched for ‘Khawaja Ajmer Nagri’ on Google, it was found that it is in Karachi (Pakistan).
The uniform of the policeman in the video also matches with the uniform of Sindh Police.
Also, some YouTube videos claiming it to be a 2018 incident from Pakistan can be watched here and here.
To sum it up, a child-missing case from Pakistan is being falsely shared as a missing case in Nagpur.
