Fact: The photo shared in the post is an old one. This photo was captured on 15 February 2015 during the India-Pakistan World Cup match at Adelaide Oval in Australia. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE
On reverse image search of the photo shared in the post, a similar photo was found published on the ‘Getty’ image sharing website on 15 February 2015. The description of the photo states, “ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA – FEBRUARY 15: Pakistan and India supporters pose with their flags outside of the ground during the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup match between India and Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval on February 15, 2015 in Adelaide, Australia”.
When we searched for more sources using these keywords, we found the same photo in an article published by the Amar Ujala news website on 15 February 2015. This article reported it as the visuals of Indian and Pakistan cricket supporters posing together before the World Cup 2015 match in Adelaide. Pakistan-based ‘Geo TV’ had also published this photo with a similar description. We could not find any news report mentioning the personal details of the Pakistani man and Indian woman in the photo.
