Claim: Visuals of exclusive Islamic prayers conducted during the Congress party office inauguration in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Fact: This video was recorded at an event where interfaith prayers from all religions were conducted to commemorate the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi and the birth anniversary of Vallabhbhai Patel. This event took place at the Congress party office in Jaipur on 31 October 2023. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

Upon careful examination of the viral video, it was discovered that the footage was live-streamed from the account ‘Heena Khan’. Using this information, we searched her Facebook profile but were unable to locate the viral video. However, we did find images posted by the user on the death anniversary of former PM Indira Gandhi on 31 October 2023. Heena Khan can be seen in one of these images, and she appears to be the same woman featured in the viral video.

Upon further comparison, it was confirmed that the woman in the viral video is indeed Heena Khan, the General Secretary of the Jaipur District Congress Committee.

Taking a cue from this, we sought additional information about this event and discovered a Facebook post by Congress leader and former Minister Namo Narain Meena, dated 31 October 2023. In his post, he stated that an interfaith meeting was conducted at the party office in Jaipur on that day. This gathering was organized to pay homage to Indira Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on their death and birth anniversaries, respectively.

Moreover, Sangeeta Beniwal, Chairperson of Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights also posted a video where the people can be heard singing the song “Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram”.

Additionally, a video published by DD News on YouTube shows visuals of various religious communities offering prayers. Furthermore, Heena Khan and Sangeeta Beniwal have confirmed that the clip being circulated is incomplete and that prayers from all religions were indeed performed during the event.

To sum it up, an unrelated clipped video was shared as visuals of Islamic prayers conducted during the Congress party office inauguration in Jaipur.
