Fact: The waterfall in the video is Jog falls from Karnataka, not from Mangampet in Avuku mandal, Kurnool district. So, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When the screenshots of the video in the post were searched using Google reverse image technique, many search results were obtained which indicated that the video in the post is related to Jog falls.
When searched on YouTube using ‘Jog falls’, a similar video posted by ‘Loksatta Live’ was found with the title ‘Jog waterfalls in Karnataka’.
When searched about Mangampet waterfalls on Google, the photos of Mangampet waterfalls found in Google maps were different compared to the video in the post.
To sum it up, a video of Jog falls in Karnata is being falsely shared as that of Mangmpet waterfalls.
