Fact: The video shared in the post shows old visuals of Mosques in Idlib declaring Jihad against the Turkish army in February 2020. The video shared in the post is old and not related to the recent communal violence in Tripura. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, a similar video was found posted by a YouTube user on 07 February 2020. This YouTube channel reported it as the visuals of a Mosque in Idlib calling for Jihad (holy war). When we searched for reliable sources using these keywords, a similar video was found in an article published by the Turkish news website ‘Yeniakit’ website on 07 February 2020. This article was published with the title, “Call to Syrians from mosques: Let’s go to jihad, young people, to jihad”.
A journalist named Hasan Sivri had tweeted the same video on 07 February 2020. Sharing the video, Hasan Sivri reported that Mosques under the control of opposition in Idlib have called on people for Jihad to fight against the Turkish army convoy marching towards the depths of Idlib.
